The primary grape component (a blend of MV6 and 777 Pinot Noir clones) was hand-picked specifically for Rose production and hand selected over a sorting table prior to destemming and whole bunch pressing. Small volumes of Pinot Noir and heritage Shiraz clones were run off from their respective ferments as saignee. After fermentation in stainless steel and seasoned French oak, all components were matured in seasoned French oak and underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine matured on lees for 6 months.
A lovely coral coloured wine. There is toffee and fruit tingles on the nose, and honey, strawberry and guava on the palate. This is a fruit forward wine with a lovely clean finish.
