1. Maddens Rise Wines (MR) does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. By accessing and continuing to use this site, you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
2. MR makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 18. By accessing and continuing to use this site, you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from Maddens Rise Wines is over the age of 18.

Any order you place is an offer to buy from MR. There will be no contract or agreement between you and MR unless and until we accept your order, and in the case of wines and goods to be delivered to you, your credit card is debited. Prior to then, we may decline to supply wine and goods to you without needing to give a reason. When we accept your order and your credit card is debited or payment is otherwise received by us, an agreement is made between you and MR (Agreement).
All wine and goods ordered remain the property of MR until payment is received in full and in clear funds. Our total liability to you for non-delivery of wine and goods is limited to the purchase price received by us for them.
MR is not liable for any delay in delivering your wine and goods if that delay was caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. MR cannot control the time taken by service providers in effecting delivery.
MR reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions on this the website without notice to you. Your continued use of this website after any such change constitutes your agreement to such changes. MR further reserves the right to change prices and other information on the website at any time without notice to you. The posting of prices and other terms of sale on this website does not constitute a binding agreement - MRs is not obliged to sell wine or products on such terms.
All content, including graphics, logos, text, images and other features, appearing on this website, and their associated copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights are owned, controlled or licensed by MR. This content is protected by copyright separately and as a collective work or compilation under applicable law and is the property of MR, its licensors, or the party credited as the provider of the content or other third-party owner of the content, as appropriate.
As a user of this website you may not copy, distribute, transmit, reproduce, publish, create derivative works or in any way use any of the content on this website without the prior written permission of MR in its discretion. This prohibition includes the publication of any part of such content on any other website or using it to create any kind of database.

Each Agreement comprises the entire agreement between you and MR concerning its subject matter and supersedes all prior discussions, understandings or agreements regarding that subject matter. An Agreement is personal to you and you may not transfer, assign, or otherwise deal with any right or obligation under the Agreement without the prior written consent of MR in its discretion.
MR will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this website, including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss or damage.
For your convenience, MR may include links to other sites on the Internet that are owned or operated by third parties. When linking to such a site, you do so at your own risk. The inclusion of any link on the MR website does not imply that MR endorses the linked site.
RISKS AND WARNINGS
Customers should be aware of the following: (a) alcohol should be consumed in moderation and not whilst operating a vehicle or machinery; (b) women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects; (c) alcohol consumption may cause health problems; (d) a case of wine is heavy, so take care when lifting it - if you are concerned about the weight we suggest you transfer the bottles one at a time; (e) wine (particularly red wine) may stain if spilled, so be careful; and (f) sparkling wines are subject to gas pressure so care should be taken when opening these bottles.
DATA NOTIFICATION STATEMENT
MR collects personal information from consumers via its website, social media platforms, and in person at tastings and events.
Consumers consent to the collection of their personal information by subscribing to MR’s wine club or email list, or by entering any competition or promotion operated or administered by MR. Information collected may include: first name, surname, email address, state, country, gender, age, postcode. Information collected may be used by MR for the following purposes: (a) with express consent to qualify for entry into a MR run or administered competition or promotion; (b) to make contact following a purchase made from us; and (c) for marketing and promotional purposes. The disclosure of personal information to overseas recipients is unlikely except where for a payment process for purchases (from MR by a consumer) operated by a service provider.
If a consumer refuses to include some personal information such as age eligibility in accordance with appropriate legislation, it may mean they are ineligible to participate in a promotion or to purchase wines from our e-commerce sites.
MR seeks to maintain a high level of security across its servers and works with reputable third party service providers including Google, Mail Chimp, Squarespace and Moonclerk, who also maintain a high level of security with personal information collected and stored. MR does not store credit card details collected via our online shop on our servers.
MR does not otherwise disclose consumers’ personal information to third parties.
